Santa Claus boards the PIA plane to distribute Christmas gifts

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan International Airlines PIA delighted passengers with a very special Christmas experience when Santa Claus boarded the plane in mid-flight.

Passengers on the flight to Karachi had a pleasant surprise as Santa Claus, a character from Eastern Christian culture who would bring gifts to children, flanked by cabin crew distributing gifts to them.

A senior Christian flight attendant, dressed in Santa’s robe, distributes gifts and chocolates to passengers, especially among children.

The national airline also shared the moment on official Twitter saying “The festivities are in the air !!! Bringing joy and happiness to the young and the young at heart”.

The spokesperson for PIA in a press release said that this activity has become a tradition of the national carrier in recent years.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunications Syed Amin Ul Haque, Members of the National Assembly Abdul Qadir Patel and Nafisa Shah, who were on board the flight, also applauded the pleasant activity and wished him every success.

PIA CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik said PIA flies according to the needs of all schools of thought because it is everyone’s airline and the national asset.
